Patients appreciate the friendly service we deliver from start to finish during every office visit. We greet visitors with a smile and “hello” face to face … no frosted glass to slide aside or bell to ring to get someone’s attention. Every member of our staff is focused on creating a satisfactory experience for our clients … whether that means finding the right magazine for waiting room reading, supplying a blanket if the room feels chilly, inquiring about favorite fluoride flavors, or “going the extra mile” to assist with insurance filing.
Forget the automated phone systems with the menus of options and endless extensions that have become commonplace these days. Customers can pick up the phone, dial our office and immediately reach real people … Yes, live, unscripted human beings! We realize our patients are human, too. That’s why we place reminder calls prior to appointments and follow-up calls to make sure patients recover according to plan.

Gum disease is a problem of epidemic proportions … literally. It effects 80% of the population of North America. Studies suggest that sufferers are at 50% greater risk of experiencing a heart attack or stroke than those with healthy gums. Sure, we can treat gum disease (See #3), but we prefer to prevent it from occurring in the first place. Patients can keep gum disease at bay through a regimen of regular maintenance office visits and daily self-care at home with instructions from our hygienists. Our unique Rota-Dent plaque-removal instrument and prescription mouthwashes are effective tools for preventing periodontal problems. Preventative measures typically are less costly and less time-consuming than curative treatments – two great reasons to stay ahead of the game!
#3: Our Kinder, Gentler Approach to Dental Work
Scalpels … not fun. Lasers … well, let’s just say our patients prefer them to scalpels. Our staff includes two full-time and three part-time doctors who specialize in the cutting-edge Non-Surgical Laser Repair™ techniques. This patient-pleasing treatment method takes some of the fear out of treating perio problems. Of course, when our docs have to resort to using the ol’ drill, we offer an array of anesthetic options to make our patients feel comfortable and relaxed.

Realizing that 75% of Americans cannot afford to pay a dental bill in excess of $500 at any given time, Dr. Curtis Roy championed the Dental Credit Card when this option … wasn’t an option! Thanks to his efforts, virtually anyone can access dental services when they need them, even if they don’t have enough cash on hand. This is true at our practice, and now at many dental clinics across the nation. Our practice strives to meet our patients’ dental needs through this option or other means. We believe that our financing options factor significantly into why 13,000 patients annually and 200 new patients per month seek services from our practice.
#5: Our Guarantees and Warranties
We want our clients to feel completely satisfied with the products and services we provide. If patients express concerns about procedures performed, prosthetics inserted or appliances provided, we listen and take immediate action to address them. We will work and rework – regardless of the time, effort or expense involved – until patients are pleased with our result. We repair our fixed crowns and bridges free of charge for five years following the date of manufacture, and our removable prostheses carry one-year warranties, providing patients adhere to their routine maintenance office visit schedules. To ensure that patients take advantage of this benefit, we provide written policies related to repairs and maintenance schedule charts when procedures are performed. And when repairs are in order, our staff can make them quickly and easily in our in-house lab!

We achieve this regularly through a partnership with 232-HELP/211, which enables area residents in dire need to access dental care free of charge. We also participate in educational outreach programs and host blood drives at our office. Plus, we take pride in our facility and keep our grounds looking gorgeous for all those poor stressed-out souls stuck in the daily Johnston Street traffic jam.
